Board of Directors

Ted Gangi is the owner of I-30 East, a Dallas-based media solutions and creative firm. Since 1999, I-30 East has grown to include just about all of major college football — all ten Division I conferences and their 125 schools as well as the Football Bowl Association and its 35 postseason games and the National College Football Awards Association and its 21 awards.

In 2005, I-30 East launched collegepressbox.com, a media website for college football. The site includes a treasure trove of media materials and is recognized as destination website for anyone who covers college football.

In addition, I-30 East provides creative services for the Football Writers Association of America, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. His work has included the creation, branding and promotion of major sports properties (Outland Trophy, Tostitos Fiesta Bowl National Team of the Week and the NCBWA Stopper of the Year among them). In addition, he has served as a consultant to the NCFAA on The Home Depot College Football Awards while also creating and designing the event’s printed program.

A New York City native and a 1987 graduate of Southern Methodist University, Gangi has played key roles at some of the nation’s most prominent media entities. He has been the Chief Researcher at CBS Sports, a producer at SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket in Dallas and the original coordinating producer of “College GameDay” on ESPN. In addition, Gangi worked for DallasNews.com, the website of The Dallas Morning News, serving as assistant Sports Editor for two years. For eight seasons, he produced SMU’s football radio broadcasts and continues to produce live events for the ESPN Radio Network. He currently resides in Dallas.
